Workflow is an external application used in order to define and model business processes in the company. It automizes business processes which consist of conveying documents, information and tasks from one participant to another in accordance with the relevant management procedures. The tool is useful for solving such problems as the actual structuring of the tasks, the identity of their performer, their hierarchy with regards to the priority, the process of coordinating them, the manner of conveying the information necessary for dealing with them and the way in which they are being monitored in the course of realization. Workflow will operate easily with both the Comarch ALTUM system and other systems for which it is possible to define business objects.
